Mission Statement:

Connecting the transforming power of Jesus Christ to everyday life.

You live in a fallen world. The temptation is everywhere. It's hard not to love the world and the things that are in the world. It's hard to love an invisible God more than the visible things that surround you. It's hard not to offer God a few pieces of your life while retaining most of it for yourself. It's hard not to reduce your walk with God down to a formal, external religion that lays no claim to the interior on your life. It's hard to grasp that you actually have to die before you can live. It's hard to grasp that your life is no longer your own. We're here to help you!

The purpose of this ministry is to place the truths of the gospel (person and work of Jesus Christ) in the middle of the messy and confusing situations and relationships in which every person lives. Its goal is to place the gospel in the hallways, bedrooms, boardrooms, family rooms, condominiums and vans of everyday life. It is designed to answer the question, “What has Jesus given me for what I am facing right here, right now today?” We speak with practical, Biblical help and hope into the confusion, disappointment, anger, fear and discouragement that people experience as they face the harsh realities of life in this broken world.

What motivates us?  We are convinced that many people live with a big gap in their understanding of what God has done for them. They understand that Jesus died so that their sins can be forgiven and they understand that he died so that they would have a future with him in eternity. But they simply don't understand what Jesus has provided for them so that they can face the harsh realities of life in this broken world with hope and courage. We believe it is not enough to believe in life after death; we believe in real hope of life before death. We believe in real hope of personal growth and change. We believe in real hope of community and institutional change. Why? Because we believe in the transforming power of Jesus Christ. His grace is able to make broken things new again. This is our mission—to connect the transforming power of Jesus Christ to everyday life.
